CALLED TO DANGEROUS PLACES by Laird J. Stuart Speaking through the burning bush, God calls Moses to go back to Egypt so that the Lord can rescue God's people. Egypt was a dangerous place for Moses. He had killed a man. He had been criticized. It was the place he had fled from. Yet God was sending him right back there. Sometimes God sends us to places that seem dangerous to us. It may be a call to work for justice, a call to risk forgiving someone, or a call to begin building a bridge over some division. Yet God was not simply sending Moses to a dangerous place. God was going with him. God would transform that dangerous place into a place of redemption and new life. God can do this with us in our dangerous places.
